Q1Why did you choose to work at this company?

SUU・SUU・CHAIYOO was the first company I worked for after coming to Japan. I arrived in 2010 and although I have been working for this company for a long time, I feel that it is a stable company and the employee benefits are excellent. There are many employee benefits that contribute to my satisfaction, such as support for expenses when returning to Thailand, company outings for everyone and large year-end parties.

Q2Please tell us about your job responsibilities.

At the central kitchen, my main responsibilities include the manufacturing of sauces for the restaurants and the production of frozen Thai cuisine. In addition, I attend weekly meetings to check in on the restaurant's situation and sometimes visit the restaurants as well.

Q3Please share with us your personal mission (life goals, life philosophy).

I want to engage in work that stimulates my curiosity. I enjoy coming up with new recipes and creating new dishes, so my current job is very enjoyable for me.

Q4What do you like most about your job?

I am involved in product development and brainstorming new concepts at the central kitchen. I enjoy seeing the expansion of distribution as I aspire to introduce Thai cuisine to people around the world. Additionally, since we also handle the development of seasonal menu items at the central kitchen, it's fun to create new menus and recipes.

Q5Have there ever been challenges or difficulties in your work?

When working on menu development, I face challenges using Japanese in conversations. However, with the cooperation of the staff members who assist with translation, I am doing my best. I also plan to continue studying Japanese.

Q6What is your favorite Thai dish?

I love Tom Yam Goong Nam Khon. I enjoy the creamy taste of coconut milk.

Q7What do you love most about Thailand?

What I love about Thailand is that its culture and traditions are wonderful, and that the Thai people are charming. Also, we have a diverse range of food.
